CMF Creative Direction
Color, material, and finish design for Nautique's model year 2025 photoboat lineup. The color palettes are consciously selected to showcase every color and material within our lineup in sophisticated and modern ways. Inspiration was drawn from the surrounding world environments, collegiate heritage, and art & sculpture.

2025 Paragon G25
Nautique's flagship model, the G25 Paragon, in Sahara Sand and Steel blue. This colorway is a reflection of the world around us: land and sky. It is a balance of warmth and coolness, with scattering golden accents throughout to mimic the sun's rays before dusk.

2025 Paragon G23
Nautique's flagship model in its shorter length, the G23 Paragon, bathed in Sahara Sand, Centennial Gold Metallic Flake, and Jet Black. This is an expression of golden hour and luxurious warmth: Versace on the water. This colorway would become a "sister colorway," dressing the Carbon Ski in the same palette.

2025 Super Air Nautique G25
The "bread and butter" of the brand - The G series. With this colorway, I dove into collegiate nostalgia, referenced nautical cues, and applied them in a modern, graphic way. Medallion Metallic Flake, Admiral Blue, and Mystic White meet Bright Metallic badging and Haze Grey interior accents.

2025 Super Air Nautique G23
Feeling the effects of isolation and a lack of connection with the natural world during the Covid outbreak, I wanted to convey the feeling of calming forests with this palette. This is a visual representation of returning to nature - to be grounded in green. The Super Air G23 in Teton Green, Lunar White, and Sahara Sand with Legacy Gold badging.

2025 Super Air Nautique G21
For the Super Air G21, I wanted to continually convey the world around us through color and texture, expanding outward into the celestial night sky as inspiration. The G21 is cloaked in Jet Black Metallic Flake, Haze Grey, and Bright White badging. The refractive nature of the Black Metallic Flake casts millions of twinkling clusters, ranging through the entire color spectrum, like distant galaxies in the night sky.

2025 Super Air Nautique S25
When studying the form of the S25, I fell in love with its visual stance in the water and wanted to exemplify its sheer mass. I was looking at a lot of brutalism sculpture and monolithic structures as inspiration, ultimately landing on a flat Tungsten Grey and Jet Black hull bottom to replicate the feeling that those images were eliciting. In balancing the feel of the cabin, warmth is carried through by use of Mojave Brown in the decorative stitch panels.

2025 Super Air Nautique S23
For the S23 I leaned into contrast: I wanted it to really punch, like a sunny day with blindingly white clouds passing by overhead. A textural monochrome element was added to the main accent stripe for a third material use in the exterior, but at its core, this palette is a bright day at the beach. Mystic White, Masters Blue Metallic Flake, Masters Blue, and Mojave Brown Trueweave.

2025 Super Air Nautique S21
When considering the S21 and the colors in Nautique's palette, I was inspired by classicly paired deep reds and gold throughout history and product. Roman soldiers, speakeasy bars clad in cherry wood and whiskey bottles, and the exquisite Mercedes Benz SL pictured below. In playing to the themes of "matured heritage," the S21 wears Crimson Red Metallic Flake, Haze Grey, Tungsten Grey, and Legacy Gold badging.

2025 Super Air Nautique GS24
I love when sophisticated product receives a respectfully subdued cmf treatment - a simplification in color for ease of absorbing all of the technological advancements of the materials and product as a whole. For the GS24, I leaned into soft Haze Grey and Mystic White with a singular color treatment to the hull bottom with Masters Blue.

For the GS22, Florida's white sand beaches and turquoise waters were referenced when designing the color palette. A pristine Mystic White cabin is accentuated by Reef Blue and Admiral Blue Metallic Flake to convey the geographic home of the brand.

2025 Super Air Nautique GS20
Rich contrast and a roasted interior, the GS20 would reference men's tailoring and mid-century upholstery. It was my desire to create a cabin-feel that of grandpa's study: deep brown leather and sharp black textural accents. Jet Black Metallic Flake, Mystic White, Mojave Brown, and Anthracite Trueweave.

2025 Ski 200
As the Ski 200 would make its final debut for model year 2025, before retiring from the product lineup, I wanted to tip a cap to its history and bathe it in Nautique's classic colors: red and black. This modern take sees Jet Black Metal Flake, Victory Red, and Lunar white inside and out.

As the second flagship model to the Nautique family, the Carbon Ski Nautique is an award-winning three-event ski boat. It only felt right to marry the models in their color palettes, furthering their gold-medal status.
